Another issue that hasn't been mentioned as far as I can tell:
'Search help' on the help pages results in an 'unexpected error' each time you try a search term, e.g. help. The result is a JSON page with this text: {"errors":[{"error":"An unexpected error occurred: error.message.system.cant.access.index"}]} I'm taking a guess: the system can't access the search term index. |

Can anyone actually say that this DID work before? Ralf |

Yes, it did, Ralf. Why are you questioning something you've never used?

Yes, it did, Ralf. Why are you questioning something you've never used? I am asking, not "questioning". Well, I do, as this could be an issue of the ill-fated redesign of the web site, just before the transition from IBM to Krembil, rather than an issue due to the transition itself. And as the web site itself (beside the stats, which depend on dynamic data) has actually been working OK when they made it available again back in June, it is not incomprehensible that this is an issue with the redesign just before the shutdown. Hence my question (I should have maybe been a bit more precise) if that search function on the help page was working before the transition, and if so, before or after the redesign of the web site... the ill-fated redesign of the web site I disagree with your qualification of the website. I find it pleasant to use, it's more modern than it was. |

the ill-fated redesign of the web site I disagree with your qualification of the website. I find it pleasant to use, it's more modern than it was. The old one might have been less "modern" but certainly way more functional A lot of info about a specific project (bar that there never was a proper separating between OPN1 and OPNG), WU status, was far quicker and more obvious to retrieve. . Not to mention those nausea inducing "progress bars" on the result page. And yes, I absolutely hate the new icons, this was just a change that didn't make any sense, just "UX changing things for UX changes sake"... Ralf |

Not to mention those nausea inducing "progress bars" on the result page. Didn't you read the Help pages on this topic? Now, unless there is a real and unmentioned issue to be reported, remember what was said by Bryn Mawr in this post: "please, do not bemoan what should have been but accept what is - I for one am thankful that we have a system and it is getting to the point where it’s usable. Can we start from there and move forwards?" And keep facts and opinions apart. |

I didn't see this on the first post but under device management it's not producing a list of my computers. Set it to last 90 days for results which I know they have. Can't assign them to specific profiles without this.

I don't see this issue mentioned anywhere else - I can't download the WCG/BOINC app on Android.
----------------------------------------- If you log in, go to Downloads, and pick Android and click next, it takes you to a Google Play page with an "app not found" message - If you search the Google Play store directly, there's no BOINC or WCG app listed |
