This science also has this state as a possible:

Did not try to remember if this happened during Beta, and else just as an FYI these do happen here too. Hopefully log comparisons will reveal something when #3 comes back. Yes SekeRob, I too have one of these currently in PVer state. After looking in each of the two logs, I couldn't see any obvious differences...

OK, so traced back the first PVer that for me went valid after _2 came in. Compared logs, nada differente, so looked at the quorum composition

Is this premonitory? Stay tuned |

Also, remember that the Boinc version issued by WCG doesn't recognise W10.
In my case W8.1-64 (06.03.9600.00) comes up in the log, but is actually running on a W10-64 10586 machine. Might want to keep an eye on the W8.1(/Server 2012 R2) entries as well. |

SekeRob, in my case (see post, above), I'm pretty sure - as I don't now have the evidence in front of me, it was the "Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium x64 Edition, Service Pack 1, (06.01.7601.00)" version that eventually turned Invalid - leaving the two Win 8.1 (albeit, with different versions), valid.

That iffy part is for the techs to take into account. There's no way for me to consider this unless someone with a wrong identifier posts a PVer / Invalid cycle and tells us it was W10... you for instance ;P)

One thing can be said, my Win 8.1-64 (06.03.9600) have mostly turned valid, very much interested to hear from gb09761 how his PVer turns out with both marked W8.1.
