@ Wicksman
----------------------------------------Total RT for August 0:166:05:20:13 (July 1:031:19:52:49) put you up to #7 in the monthly table (#10 as at Aug 26). An average RT of 13.5 days per cd would be enough to place you at #4 in a full month behind Thargor 42.4, crooks_uk 27.5, and Mike D Green 16.4. @ gordoma Edit: forgot my trademark blue text You should insert © lest I be tempted to copy you! ![]() |

@ gordoma Not sure I could copyright a colour. Sure I remember a news story of some company attempting to copyright the specific Pantone of their logo and failing.Edit: forgot my trademark blue text You should insert © lest I be tempted to copy you! ![]() When trying to click on the "last post" icon for this thread, I accidentally clicked on your profile (browsing on iPhone + fat thumbs). I see you're in RLS. Lived there for 5 years myself... Happy memories - its been nearly 10 years since I moved away but I'd definitely go back if I decide to get away from the mêlée that is the M4 corridor! |

The monthly stats are complete and just need to be proofed and for me to write the commentary. So publication before lumchtime (Paralympic Golds permitting)
---------------------------------------- In other news: The UK team stormed past HKU in the Points rankings to #86 and should advance another 3 places in the next 7-10 days The targets are now:ESU 16 days The targets are a little more flexible than usual as a result of Friday's outages and the Labor Day holiday in the US. ![]() |

Looks like there may have been a few healthy caches in play during the outage. Our stats for yesterday are pretty good...
----------------------------------------RT: 170% of 30th August (RT Target, Poland: 160%) Points: 170% of 30th August (Points Target, IBM Web Innovators & Friends: 145%) Results: 165% of 30th August (pretty much on par with current targets) Personally, I managed to maintain 185-195% yesterday so didn't take much of a hit from the outage - just a few aborted WUs after the fact * percentages rounded to the nearest 5% There's the silver lining if you want to see it! |

The UK team monthly stats report http://bit.ly/N6AHrO has 7 pages.
----------------------------------------Rankings Team members ranked for each of RT, Pts, Res and for AllTime and 2012. (Sorted by 2012 RT) 2012 Monthly Monthly performance by member. Ranking +/- is derived from AllTime ranking in the Team at Jan 1st, movement for the month and totalled for the Year todate. Membership Alltime Members 529 (Jul 519); Current Members 444 (Jul 436). Canthus previously inactive in 2012 resumed crunching and has since contributed 0:040:18:14:08. eLDee retired after 3 years valuable crunching and Grendel90 joined and then retired after 1 day. A total of 36 (Jul 34) members appear to have become InActive during 2012. Targets The page has been reformatted to hopefully make the information easier to interpret. A team above the UK in the rankings becomes a target if, in the previous 7 days, the UK has out crunched them in the particular category. The number of days to close the gap is then assessed on the 7-day performance differential. No threats to the UK team ranking are currently perceived inside 120 days. Global 5000 ranking djerram brings to 16 the number of UK team members who have a Global 5000 ranking, 10 of them in all three categories. Thargor 0:321:04:19:05 remaining, Gordoma 0:233:00:33:08, arkangath 1:030:12:30:27 are closing in on a RT ranking. MarkRM and TomNuttall will eventually drop out at their current level of crunching. Project Stats. The UK team's crunching by Project as at 31 Aug and 31 Jul, and for the month of August. Historical UK team performance by month (2012) and by year since the team's inception - totals and per Calendar Day Average. By any standard August 2012 has been a very good month for the UK team. Hopefully we can continue to improve in the remainder of 2012. As usual any E&O are down to me! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jonnieb-uk at Sep 2, 2012 10:49:53 AM] |

Looks like there may have been a few healthy caches in play during the outage. Our stats for yesterday are pretty good... @ gordoma Sorry, but I disagree with your interpretation! System downtime impacted on results for both 1st Sep and 31st Aug. The 2 sets of results should be taken together and averaged before comparison with 30th Aug and earlier. Thus: Statistics Date Run Time Points Results IMHO, comparing like with like, the UK team performance across Aug 31 and Sep 1 was poor. From that I infer that cache sizes, within the UK team generally, were set < 1. An added factor, impossible to quantify, was the bad batch of CfSW WUs on Aug 27 resulting in previously "trusted" devices having to re-prove themselves, with a consequent increase in P/Val and P/Ver levels. |

Just to keep things interesting
---------------------------------------- knreed posted in the HCC forum Aug 30: Quick update. We have completed an alpha test of some server logic and the version of the GPU application that the researchers have approved. We are ready to conduct a beta test but the work this week on the filesystem issue has taken our time this week and we have not been able to get the next beta started. We should be able to move forward with this soon. ![]() |

Thanks for the stats again jonnieb.
----------------------------------------I just about managed a day's worth of crunching RT per calendar day, so I'm very happy with that. |
