Re: New Beta Test Started

If I abort some tasks that are ready to start, will that disqualify me from receiving betas?

No need to abort. Just suspend your current tasks and increase your cache by a day to get a beta.

In that order ALL work requesting stops... 1st increase cache so it will go out to look in the beta bucket first (when selected), then suspend the RtR tasks, then the running tasks to get the Beta's running ahead. After, take the suspends off as else no new work will be requested when the current beta jos finish.

That looks like how Beta graphics tend to look... just the progress bar, no project specific parts... those are disabled ... well maybe they're there, but blacked out :P

We've heard that before, but also probable is that no shared memory slots have any in them presently until a segment is cleared for a new lot.

Pete, there are still plenty of betas left (I think), I just grab my last one (for a least a few hrs -- maxed out) a few mins ago on my windows system.

Re: New Beta Test Started

Just got a repair job. The original wingman runs on this "why are there still 6.4.5 client users?", bombing after 1.85 hours. The Result log for FYI of other Beta Testers. Signal 4 suggests it's a *nix client.

edit: Suppose even though it's Zero Redundancy, the verification in case of inconclusive still has to happen on the same platform... and mine is a *nix biggrin
