If I abort some tasks that are ready to start, will that disqualify me from receiving betas?

Sek,
The memory requirement of around 500MB is that if we were to release the larger molecules, they would use over 300MB of memory. Granted, these molecules were not released on this Beta. So Setting the memory around 500MB is a precaution mostly. You should not see any that exceed that amount. Hope this helps explain. Also, I think the graphics look AWESOME!!!! Oh wait, i wrote them...lol...but it's beta, you do not get to see them yet :) Enjoy! -Uplinger |

Hooked up 16 totally different systems, for variety; this being a beta test, rather than a badge hunt!
Some will subsequentially have to be detached again, but I will let all tasks complete. It's a good thing it's the weekend ;) All 53 tasks looking good so far, |

Maybe this is different to the windows behavior getting this black hole window????? The molecule bit makes sense then. thanks

Interesting about the no graphics window. I will have to test that on my linux side of the dual boot when i get a chance. What version of Linux are you running? I've seen mention of 10.04 but don't remember if that was yours. We did test it in stand alone mode and the graphics worked on Linux. I will test it again when I get a chance.
Thanks, -Uplinger |

Maybe I misunderstood this, but there are no graphics on my Vista in the simple view. There are only the WCG logo.

If I abort some tasks that are ready to start, will that disqualify me from receiving betas? No need to abort. Just suspend your current tasks and increase your cache by a day to get a beta. ![]() ![]() |

Keith,
----------------------------------------Ubuntu 10.04 with 2.6.32.24 kernel with latest security patch and 256.35 NVidia drivers. All projects have shown good resolution graphics and retested CEP2 just to confirm.
