 The CET is the Central England Temperature - the average temperature in the triangle formed by London, Birmingham and Bristol. The anomaly is the difference in temperature to that measured during 1961 to 1990 For the year to date it is 1.01C below normal It's no longer funny because of the increased cost of heating in the UK which should have been turned off long ago. The high costs are due to the levies and forced infrastructure replacements that will, and I quote, "Combat Global Warming" and meet the absurd and legally binding commitments made in the UK's 2008 Climate Change Act https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climate_Change_Act_2008 Which is a sick joke being played out on all our lives.
