Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Agreed

Soong I was onside until the predictions of a global temperature increase of 6C by 2100.

You are right we have to be good custodians of the planet and we also should do the best for our fellow citizens.

If this was actually what the driver was behind the "Man Made Global Warming" narrative then I'd be at the front of the queue supporting it like I do the World Community Grid.

Instead it's a vicious tool of controlled scarcity and ultimately an excuse for genocide in the guise of population control. By the types who meet here (Tell me this isn't so) to discuss in what direction our collective futures will go, all behind closed doors.

It's useful construct to own in any Politician's arsenal of misdirection and confusion. An excuse for anything aka Global Warming

Even as the Globe cools it will always be warming seemingly regardless.

Standby for a change of tack. I'm guessing this is not going to be pleasant.

http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/SDO_Self_Updating_6.htm

very quiet considering it is now at Sunspot Maxima.

Consulting the runes (because that is the level of understanding we currently have with Climate Science) I say it would be unlikely for the Planet to resume a warming phase as seen in the late 20th Century at the moment.

The doom and gloom merchants insanity will become increasingly difficult to prop up. The thermometer will continue to undermine the theory of Man Made Global Warming.

Until Pragmatism returns

Looks like I have been destroying the planet unnecessarily by using Google Chrome as my Browser shock

http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/06/11/micro...s_most_efficient_browser/

What I should have been doing is using the much slower single threaded security risk of a browser that is in bed with my OS

Silly me biggrin

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Hi Gerald

I'm glad you like it. You're right though I think it's about time. Been on my tod now for closing in on 4 years.

Get this

http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2013/jun/13/met-office-uk-bad-weather-cause

Unbelievable, how long are they going to string this out for? Before it is so obvious it isn't worth defending.

Dear UK Met Office

The sentence you are looking for is "It's not getting warmer anymore"

You will feel so much better once you have said it out loud and then you will be able to return to the science

Face up to the truth. It's here in the graph below - the one you have generated yourselves.

Dave
