It seems to me they are casting around looking for a way out of the EU's LCPD http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Large_Combustion_Plant_Directive

Because they know that one cold spell in 2015 and the lights will go out on UK PLC - guaranteed.

SSE warned that customers should brace themselves for further price hikes as it reported a near 30 per cent rise in profits from its retail customers last year.

SSE, which benefited from a 9 per cent rise in its gas and electricity prices in October and the prolonged winter, cautioned that it was likely to pass on increasing wholesale costs to its customers in the form of higher bills.

Oh Great. Thats my supplier David.

I have to stay in all day today, as someone is coming from them to change my gas meter. The one I have now must not be charging enough for them.

Unlucky Whl.

In my latest flat I'm stuck with a Electricity Tariff I can't switch from - it's called Economy 10. I don't get 7 hours overnight more like 5 but 2 cheap hours of leccy from 2pm-4pm while I'm at work - which is really really useful

Definitely not 10 cheap rate hours and the remainder are plain extortion.

Best of luck with the Gas Meter change

This morning a snowflake appeared on my dashboard, I had to laugh, to warn me of icy road conditions.... it's the 23rd May !

Strange

All that Siberian Arctic Tundra seems to have gone off-air yesterday

http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/UEST.html

Have a look here http://www.weatherspark.com

All across the Northern band of Russia the NOAA weather stations stopped reporting yesterday lunchtime they just show up today as yellow dots

That's one way of creating alarming warming towards the pole stop recording at noon and fill your database with midday values smile

Let's hope they come back to life

The Siberian Weather Stations are back on-line

NOAA seemed surprised that someone had written to let them know things were amiss

Completely nuts

http://www.spannerfilms.net/400ppm

Here above lies the thoughts of yet another extremist.

Mankind is so much better when we're working towards the common good.

If Franny Armstrong could just look out the window for a moment, living in the UK, she would see an absolutely lovely May day. Bird's singing, tree's with fresh green leaves and blossom, lush green everywhere you look. It's absolutely glorious.

Absolutely glorious smile

The utter devastation caused by less than 400 parts per million (0.04%) CO2 that apparently warrants thoughts of cyanide (see link above) - pic taken on my strolls today

The Climate Change Alarmists and World Governments disconnect with reality is total

After a glorious weekend you can see that all of that greenery is going to be sprinkled with water tonight - the rain clouds are gathering.

Pretty certain now that May is going to join the first 4 months of 2013 in being below the average for 1961-90.
