Re: We need more members!!

Hi Chrissy,

Regarding the link on BOINC projects viewing the summary page, you see your BOINC score but not an active link. This is because WCG is not an original BOINC project and maintains its own Statistics pages which merge the points of BOINC with the points of the UD agent. I'll ask the techs if somehow the link could be activated to be able to jump to the WCG "My Grid" page, but it wont be listing your other projects.

As for the avatar, you already found the place to park yours. A place in the sidebar is not available yet. There is new forum software in the planning, but when it comes i don't know.

cheers

Re: We need more members!!

Hey guys and gals, fellow crunchers,

The latest news is encouraging. But our problem is - we NEED more members!! There are only 240K devices crunching, and not all are crunching FA@H. As somebody had already mentioned, imagine if we had the SETI@HOME's power!

So, I wanted to open this new thread for us to brainstorm and share ideas as to how to recruit more people. How about posting to SETI forums to recruit some of them? Advertisement? Maybe we should do some fund-raising and post ads in our areas?

What do you think?

I been processing FAAH Work Units along with other current projects.. most I been seeing on this end is alot of "Pending Vaildation" most work units complete in just over 3 - 4 hours depending on WU on this end.. just waiting here for other systems to get their results reported in.. :)
I got another CPU with the same processing power.. just need to build the rig.
