Just a FYI, I increased African rainfall from 6 to 9 threads and it increased my crunching by 4 hours per WU. Will be glad when I hit my 2 years badge and crunch covid 100%.

Just a FYI, I increased African rainfall from 6 to 9 threads and it increased my crunching by 4 hours per WU. Will be glad when I hit my 2 years badge and crunch covid 100%. Most of my rigs are crunching OPN 100% except for my Windows rig on which I allowed 1 and one other machine which I allowed 1. Right now I have 1 year and 200 days. I figure that project will last long enough even at this rate I will get to sapphire eventually. Out of about 110 threads I am only using 2 for ARP. Once we can get a handle on this COVID-19 thing I will go back to a bigger variety with mostly cancer units. Cheers

That was not only European, I remember seeing it here. I thought it was kind of cheesy, but Barbara Bain always looked good. Cheers

Yello yello yello!
----------------------------------------Some very hot (+25'C, +77'F) Sunday evening here. I still have outdoor basil and can harvest those with "billhook" scale, night time temperature has not gone under +8'C (+46'F) which seems to be critical line for these bushes.... They just keep growing and growing.... Feeding them with 12-5-14 fertilizer. Got wheelbarrow of this on few years ago when Lidl did sold old (spring) stock on autumn, price was like €/kg ($1.18/2.2lb). I dug out an old Gizmo 2 Single board computer and got it up and running. Its now crunching full time and adding some computing power on my journey to 10-year badge for Mapping Cancer Markers. The Gizmo2 is a long end-of-life AMD G-series embedded CPU with two cores, 1Ghz. Computation times are around 10 hours for Covid and Cancer Markers.

I never heard of this thing. I did find a page with some details on it here. Anything which produces results is a good thing. I am glad you got it crunching.

The Gizmo 2 is currently running Linux Mint. Over the past couple of days I tried several different Linux distros as well as Windows 10. Linux Mint gives pretty good performance compared to the others. Windows 10 was just too much overhead and it ran sluggish.
