Appear to me that Krembil will lost a lot of serious crunchers that contributed a lot of for WCG for many years, and yet we will have this serious issue on the stats and devices, I never saw in WCG this kind of lack of attention with the crunchers. In my opinion it´s not a low priority issue, It´s a HUGE issue wich are impacting very hard WCG in several aspects and mainly reputation. It will provoques continuous give ups from colaborators. Need urgency to solve it. Need priority to solve it. It´s a question of confidence in the new owner of WCG,
I will turn of from WCG many devices that not appear in stats and devices management to participate in more serious projects inside BOINC platafolrm, that have much more priority with colaborators than here. |

I agree this s demotivating and frustrating. If the totals are showing BOINCSTATS then you are contributing. I would give it a week or so and see if it shows up. Krembil seems to have some glitches in synchronizing their databases, but they eventually get around to it. Cheers So does everyone else see that the new devices are showing up in the results section with WUs assigned, pending, and validate, while still not showing up in the devices lists? Can't understand why it's so difficult to show these results when clearly the WU distribution and reporting aspect of the website is working. I still believe that boincstats shows the combined results, my totals are showing levels consistant with both devices. |

Who can we ask about this beyond discussing missing devices and incorrect stats in the forum?
Is there a contact at Krembil anyone knows about? |

Yes, devices still missing from device list although tasks are completing and being tallied for them. Not critical, but quite annoying and should be embarassing for admins.

Dear volunteers, we are still investigating this behavior.
As this happens only to some volunteers, it has been hard to pinpoint the issue behind it. If you could send us your account details and the list of devices working (or not) - and when - to support@worldcommunitygrid.org it would help us. Thank you, and Happy New Year |

Mine have been random. wcg1 showed immediately, wcg2 appeared after a week, and wcg3 still not showing after maybe 10 days. Another one is showing under the name of a previous pc. All show correctly under 'Results'.

Just a reminder:
On Linux, you can find the DEVICE_ID in the file "sched_request_www.worldcommunitygrid.org.xml" in the BOINC-directory ~boinc on the designated device by inspecting the contents of the element <hostid> in that file. |

Just found that my missing device has now shown up. It was missing for just over a month now. Glad to see it showing now. Thanks!

I sent a request with my details over a week ago to the support email with still no response and still no updates to my device list. Would you be so kind as to check if there is any more detail I needed to provide? Thank you, |
