My missing devices, or at least some of them, have shown up. Will check to see if any are still missing.

So although my previous devices now show up, I just installed and started WUs on a new device today (id:8679947), and that one isn't showing up in my account.
So it seems the 'fix' was only one-time? I guess the root cause issue is still persists and is affecting new devices from showing up. |

Device name for one of my machines in Devices still does not match the device name in Results.

Exactly one week ago I added a new machine and it has been running for a week since then. The device was not showing up in Devices, nor in Device management, until today - I'm sure it wasn't there yesterday, because I changed a setting in another device profile then and there.
----------------------------------------Suddenly, today, out of the blue, the device is showing up in Device management, with my default profile, so that I can assign any profile I want to it! (I was planning to dedicate a post about the missing device some days ago, but there was no real need, so I postponed it and didn't notify the techs about the missing device.) Does this mean that the issue with the "missing devices in My Contribution" has been solved? Don't know about Devices and Device Manager as I still have a few missing, but all but 2 of my thousands of WUs on my Results page have disappeared. Maybe that means a reset/correction is going on and the database is being worked on. Could possibly explain why there haven't been any WUs too if they are trying to make it easy on themselves with the database(s).

Hello, I'm new. :)
Just found this thread as I face the same problem - I got some valid results already, but the Overview page says I didn't do anything so far, and there are no devices I could add under "Device Management". I'm crunching for 2 days now, so I must have missed whatever have happened 2 days ago and made @adriverhoef so happy. :) One machine is x86 Manjaro, another is my ARM Ubuntu server. I don't know how to check their numbers, but I'll be happy to assist and provide more information on request. I don't mind direct contact either, it's my member ID at tlen.pl. That does not discourage me from crunching at all, just thought this would be nice to check the performance periodically. |
