Is it worth letting my devices run, seeing as I can't tell whether they're contributing properly?
----------------------------------------Mind you, I can see results going in under the correct device names if I go through the results section, but nothing else is updated at all. I'd be willing to contribute to whatever units of work need to happen for some basic stats to be updated if work is being recognised properly.. APIs of this nature are almost trivial. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by hewi at Feb 16, 2023 12:26:28 PM] |

Hi email sent but still the same issue <hostid>8693181</hostid> Host Name FRVZYNB26008 Hi FJT, thanks for sharing this with us, I sent it directly to the tech team who should be able to manually add it to your profile soon. Hi Cyclops can you give me an update on this please. I've contacted WCG on Twitter, sent 2 emails and posted on here. I sent my first email on the 2nd Feb. thanks Hi gibbcopr, I do not see your message on Twitter, could you try sending them through direct messages? Is it worth letting my devices run, seeing as I can't tell whether they're contributing properly? Mind you, I can see results going in under the correct device names if I go through the results section, but nothing else is updated at all. Hi hewi, regardless of what results are shown on your Overview page, all of your contributions are properly recognized and sent to their respective projects. Results should be accurate across all pages once we solve this issue. |

I've notice one of my devices isn't showing, though it has been contributing and processing results.
Device host ID: 8692805 Any ideas how I can get it attached to my profile? Thanks |

Hi Cyclops, all of my device IDs are appearing in Devices. Here's the issue ... The device name for Device ID 8649578 in Results does not match the device name in Devices. --> Results shows 'Dell-PC' which is correct. --> Devices shows 'DESKTOP-3GO6IMC' which is incorrect. This issue started after I renamed the machine in Windows. I renamed it again last week and the device name in Devices still did not get updated. This should be pretty easy to replicate in your environment to verify it's happening. It's obviously broken and should be fixed. I sent support emails including screenshots on 12/15, 12/20 and 1/24. I received only one email response (12/19). Thanks, AgrFan Thanks for sharing this with me, I will pass it on and hopefully we it will be resolved soon. Hi Cyclops, The device name for Device ID 8649578 has been updated in Devices. The device name matches the device name in Results. WCG tech support ticket #2791 can be closed. Thank you, AgrFan

As of today all my devices correctly appear in the devices list for the first time since the transfer. Nice work!

I'm missing over 123,000 credits between two computers.
Support Ticket #3227 over a month ago (two issues). Some work was done, but made it worse. Subsequent replies aren't answered. I have (8) other systems running, but halted WCG on these uncredited systems and letting them run Asteroids and Rosetta for the timebeing. I get immediate credit there. I'm typically slow to react, and realize they are overwhelmed, but this has me extremely disheartened. |
