@Cyclops, I'm missing two newly configured devices in My Devices. Statistics history is missing as well for both machines. HostIDs for the missing devices are 8649437 and 8649578. Any ETA for getting this fully resolved? Hi AgrFan, sorry to hear about that. Not sure when it can be resolved but updates will be posted here and on the bug list. If you have any screenshots that you think could help us then feel free to send them. |

Both machines are offline right now. I'll try to send screenshots later this week. Thanks. [Edit 3 times, last edit by AgrFan at Nov 1, 2022 10:24:01 PM] |

Hi ElTilloMemo, I've told the tech team and they're currently working on it as a high priority issue. Sorry to say, but no ETA at this time. I'll post a conclusion on this thread when we figure it out. |

@Cyclops,
----------------------------------------My two new configured devices are now showing in My Devices. However, the device name for one of them does not match the device name listed in My Results. My Devices shows 'DESKTOP-3GO6IMC'. My Results shows 'Dell-Optiplex-990' which is correct. Let me know if you need screenshots. This should be easy to verify on the database side. Device ID 8649578 is the machine with the discrepancy. Agrfan [Edit 1 times, last edit by AgrFan at Nov 3, 2022 2:30:49 PM] |

@Cyclops, Did you rename that particular host, after you installed BOINC? I had that problem before (even before the move), but it seems the BOINC client is sometimes quite a bit tardy when it comes to update the changed host name "back to the hive".. If it is less than 24h between the installation of BOINC and renaming the host, I would definitely just wait another day. Internally (BOINC in general), the host is remembered using a host ID, not the actual name.My two new configured devices are now showing in My Devices. Agrfan There has been however a post from Krembil recently that they are working on some sync issues between the BOINC/science database and the web site database, so there is a possibility that the delay in showing the new host name might be related to that as well. Did you rename that particular host, after you installed BOINC? Yes, I renamed the host after installing BOINC and completing a few work units. That was a few weeks ago. It hasn't been online until recently due to the issues with missing devices/statistics on the website. I'm hoping this is a simple fix. |

I'm hoping this is a simple fix.As mentioned, I had this happen quite a few times before myself when setting up brand new computers at clients or repurposing old ones. Or change the host name as it's role/user has changed. Internally, all that matters is the host ID, and that doesn't change by renaming, I am not even sure if BOINC is assigning a new host ID when you re-installing the OS. Ralf |

Update. Now have 9 devices displayed in device manager - 2 missing. All devices have unique device names and have been running for days: downloading, processing and uploading work.
