Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

@WCG Techs:
WCG Techs moved the forum threads on COVID-19/OpenPandemics that were intitially here in the Suggestions/Feedback forum to their own new forum OpenPandemics - COVID-19 Project in the Global Announcements section a few days ago (possibly at my suggestion).
However, the new forum is read-only, with no Reply buttons.
Was this an oversight, or a measure to pause noisy posts from us mug crunchers until the project is further advanced?
---
BTW, I have a question re mooted upgrades to AutoDock, which is the docking program to be used initially for COVID-19. I was unable to post it in the OpenPandemics forum, so I posted it here in the FAAH Phase 2 forum where the upgrade was announced.

Hello Rickjb,
There were 3 threads related to the upcoming OpenPandemics project that were moved to their own forum section. The Coming Soon: OpenPandemics thread is read-only. The other two threads in the new forum are not read-only. Please let us know if you are seeing the other two threads as read-only - and try posting your question in the Questions about science and technology for OpenPandemics (launch TBA) thread.

Thank you for your support,
ErikaT

OK, another round of crash-test dummies. Can write a Quick Reply post, but on committing get 'sorry... not enough permissions..." Those threads had their last posts on the 21st, sort of the day they were moved to the new forum.

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

Confirmed,

The "Questions about science..." thread has no reply option above the post title in the way this thread does. Nor does the other one, both are read only.

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

My apologies - I configured the new forum incorrectly. It now has the appropriate settings to allow members to use the forum normally. Please note that you may have to logout and log back in again in order to see the new permissions.

I apologize for the issue.

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

The beta test phase must be completed and fully assessed, and. if necessary, some adjustments must be done, prior to operational launch.
I guess that it will not take long now (couple of days, maybe 1 week thinking ).
Cheers,
Yves

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

@WCG techs,

Thanks for the recent upgrades to project servers, database, etc. Does that include the forums? This forum will likely be hit pretty hard when this project goes live.

Thanks, just curious.
