Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

We got some experimental cure in Croatia (EU). It will be tested on patients in Rijeka (city in Croatia). The information was given by the head of epidemiology dept., which is part of the "Crisis civil protection headquarters" here in Croatia.

So the info is "legit", link:

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

University of Oxford is conducting a larger scale double blind test with an old malaria medicine, chloroquine. That stuff you can only take 3 months but the participants will be followed for 5 months or until they catch cv19, whichever comes first.

Yes, it's just a beginning test.

Re: WCG and Pandemic-Related Projects

I noticed that Folding@Home had COVID19 related work so thought of straying from WCG and actually re-starting my main cluster. But... my initial FAH experience was not very positive. I am used to working fully in BOINC, so with FAH how do you manage or track progress?

After having working professionally with university research computing and a long time with WCG, FAH initially seems second rate. Am I missing something?
