Re: Viktors corner

Keep in mind SCC is basically out of WUs for roughly multiple months and Zika will be ending in a week or so.

So that leaves us only FA@HP2, MCM and MIP as active projects?

Yes I believe that to be correct along with the work from Help Stop TB

Re: Viktors corner

Just wrapped up our monthly call with the FAAH2 research team.

1. They are almost completely done with the current work units and ready to begin analysis of the data they've received from WCG.
2. There is about 1-2 weeks of work (ESTIMATED) left for this current group of work units. Once they've run out, there will be a pause. At this point, we're not sure how long the pause will be.
3. Their analysis process will probably take a few weeks if everything runs smoothly. The purpose of the analysis is to see if they can refine the docking targets further.
4. The FAAH1 researchers may have further targets to send to the FAAH2 researchers that might be run on WCG in the future (they were not present during this month's call). The two groups are going to touch base over the next few weeks about this.

Work unit status as of October 9:

In Progress:  99,883 work units
Completed:  3,878,277 in the last 30 days - 12,9276 average per day

Re: Viktors corner

Approximate status 3 to 4 weeks from now:

ZIKA Ended
SCC Paused
FAH2 Paused
HST1 Very little work
MIP1 Active
MCM1 Active

Is Climateprediction doing anything? Einstein? Milkyway? Have a lot of compute power with nothing to do

Re: Viktors corner

Although I too like a large variety of projects, isn't MCM and MIP enough? Both projects seem to have plenty of work to do for years. No computer will run out of work soon :)

Agreed. I plan to do MIP exclusively until MCM sarcoma units come out as well as ARP project is launched.

Computers won't run out of work soon, but Android device yes.
My phone is crunching its last unit for OpenZika, while it is able to crunch 8 units at a time.
It is at 93.1% of its last unit, and it is not downloading any more work unit...

In a couple of minutes my phone will be out of work worried
