Re: Viktors corner

herflick,

I responded to you on one of your other posts. The most recent monthly update was posted here on November 15. This was from our most recently monthly call, which took place on November 14 (about two and a half weeks ago).

As mentioned in the subsequent discussion in the thread, most of our research calls are short and center around the details of processing work units.

We will have our next call with the FAAH researchers later this month, unless they are not able to attend due to travel, end-of-semester conflicts, or the holidays. At this point it is on our schedule for mid-month.

Re: Viktors corner

We had a call with the FAAH2 research team today.

Most of the discussion centered around the status of work units (i.e., do the results of the work units we've sent them look valid), and everything is fine.

There are some new work units that are currently in alpha testing. We will have more news about these in a few weeks.

Re: Viktors corner

Just had our call with the FAAH research team today. Here are the highlights:

1. The FAAH2 team has four new members. We're collecting their bios and will introduce them to everyone ASAP in a project update as soon as we have all the info.
2. There are two papers that are close to publication, which we will publicize once they are online.
3. Beta testing for new FAAH2 work units continues--check out the forum thread for user feedback.
4. The two phases of the team recently met face-to-face at a HIVE Center meeting and got to talk about their work.

& why has ECD has been moved from 2028. to 2021.?
& is WCG planning to use more weight on this project now?

Data is here: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=602019

Re: Viktors corner

Just had our monthly call with the researchers.

1. The Phase 1 team is planning to apply for grants to continue their work later this year (probably early summer).
2. The researchers have started receiving results from the new FAAH2 work units that were released into production a few weeks ago.
3. The Research Participants page has been updated with the bios of the four new members at Temple University (FAAH2).
4. The two papers mentioned in the last update have not yet been published--stay tuned for more info once they're available.
