We just wrapped up our call with the research team. 1. They're waiting to hear back about their grant submission. 2. They're working an updated version of AutoDock (the original software used for Phase 1 of this project), which should be much faster than the earlier version. We'll have more information as their work progresses. for 2.: does that mean that FA@H (or FAAH) is restarting (soon)? |

We had a quick call with the researchers today. (Note that these calls are usually with both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 research teams.)
1. They think they'll hear back about their grant submission by the end of July. This could help create some additional work for Phase 1. 2. Work is going well on the updated version of AutoDock. Right now they're working out some licensing details (some of the work is owned by another university). Once the new version is released, other research groups who have expressed interest in using it might submit proposals to use World Community Grid. 3. The researchers were curious if/how IBM's recent acquisition of Red Hat would impact World Community Grid. (We don't know yet if we'll have access to any Red Hat technology or personnel.) |

We do not have an end date for this project. As far as we know right now, it will be continuing for the foreseeable future.

Thx for info caitilarkin. So, when experiments 002221-002470 and 002471-002720 got finished, we can expect new sets or there is going to be a pause in WU flow?
