We had our monthly research team call today.
1. WCG received new work units at the end of December after a successful beta test. The Phase 2 research team has been receiving the results with no issues. 2. The Phase 1 and 2 teams are meeting in person soon and will discuss their next steps. (We've asked them for a group picture and a project update from the meeting.) Current status of work units: In Progress: 4,991 work units* Completed: 164,538 work units in the last 30 days - average of 5,484 work units per day *This project does not use batches like some other projects. Also, due to its use of the AsyncRe analysis method, this project does not keep a backlog of work with World Community Grid like many others. See the latest two project updates for details. |

We had a quick call with the research team today. No major news to report--the Phase 2 team is about to start analyzing the data from the new work units they sent us at the end of December.
Current status of work units: In Progress: 4,988 work units* Completed: 274,564 work units in the last 30 days - 9,152 average of work units per day *This project does not use batches like some other projects. Also, due to its use of the AsyncRe analysis method, this project does not keep a backlog of work with World Community Grid like many others. See the latest two project updates for details. |

2. The Phase 1 team has decided that they definitely want to run more AutoDock work on WCG. They are coming up with a plan and a timeframe for this; we expect to have more information early next year. Hello Caitilarkin, Do you know if the upcoming Phase 1 work will be available on android as well as x86? |

Just wrapped up our March call with the researchers.
1. The team at Temple had planned to promote the project at a major conference in Philadelphia later this month, but it's been cancelled due to COVID-19. 2. The Scripps team is working on a paper and they hope to have a draft wrapped up this month. 3. The Scripps team has started working on an updated version of Autodock/Vina. As this work progresses, we'll get more details from the researchers. The plan right now is that this new version will be operational later this year, unless other priorities come up. In Progress: 4,991 work units* Completed: 307,913 work units in the last 30 days - average of 10,263 work units per day *This project does not use batches like some other projects. Also, due to its use of the AsyncRe analysis method, this project does not keep a backlog of work with World Community Grid like many others. See the latest two project updates for details. |
