Any update on the results of round 4? Or just as good (even better!), a start date for round 5? Already been a round 5. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread_thread,33141 #6 should hopefully begin soon.
In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

knreed posted ( https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/...ad,33141_offset,80#381074 ) about the results. Bug fixed for AMD GPU code. Still needs validation and alpha testing before we can run Beta round 6.

@bigbird Why are you posting in this obsolete thread for the Sept 13 beta test? <comment>-- RetiredTech [Sep 13, 2012 11:24:53 PM] post There are a number of posts that reflect cruncher-confusion arising from what I see as the lack of a coherent structure/plan for the forum-discussion of beta-GPU-WU testing. For example, there is no coherent nomeclature for referring to the batches. The batches used Round X, version-number, and date-stamp for their nomenclature. Also, there was no declaration of when a batch closed, and reports, if any, of how well the actual results met the objective in particular, or how the iteration-set proceeded in general. The good news is that a coherent nomenclature seem to be taking place: using version-number to refer to test-batches. Let us hope that other parts develop toward a coherent structure for discussion of beta-GPU-WU testings. </comment> ; |
