I'd like to get sapphire in HCMD, but the WU's are going fast. I need 3 more weeks going flat out with all my cores to make it.

I stopped doing HCMD2 when I got my sapphire so that others could have the work units.
----------------------------------------Good luck.

The last and final update on the PC build.
----------------------------------------The fan controller is installed and automatically controls four 3-pin case fans via SYS FAN (PWM) on the motherboard. It's a long story but the middle fan for the Noctua CPU cooler can't be installed due to no clearance with an adjacent case fan. Correction, it can't be installed with the clips provided. It looks possible to make a clip that will install but removing it is a problem. If you are familiar with the Noctua NH-D14 you know that the center fan must be removed so that the cooler can be mounted to the CPU. One could assume that the fan must also be removed to remove the Noctua, and therin lies the problem. I am sure it can be installed but not sure it can be removed. There is no rush on that as one fan seems to be doing a good job. The lone CPU fan is running off of CPU FAN on the motherboard but because it is 3-pin it runs wide open all of the time. 4 out of 5 ain't bad.

nasher, if you persist I am sure you can do it.
----------------------------------------Slow and steady wins the race. The waiting is the hard part. grumpygrampy just picked up a 4th badge bringing the total for new crunchers since October 9th to 10 badges. It looks like the new crunchers have the hang of it.

My chair broke, the right arm fell off and I wasn't even touching it.
----------------------------------------It seems there is a defective bolt involved. I called a dealer/distributor to get a new bolt and they didn't return my calls. After a number of voice-mails were left with the dealer they finally agreed to sell me a repair kit (a bolt and a few other minor trinkets) for $25. Did I mention that a torque wrench is required to install the bolt correctly? I don't own one. It wouldn't bother me so much except the chair is a Hermann Miller Aeron and is considered the epitome of office chairs. Price tag for a replacement chair ranges from $500-$800. http://store.hermanmiller.com/Products/Aeron-Chair My solution is to buy a new chair for $89 and put the Aeron on eBay. Got the chair. I love this new chair. Genuine imitation bonded leather, and it is a nice burgundy color that matches my cherry office furniture. If this chair breaks it will be easy to replace. Ask me if I'm happy.
