This has been a great experience for me. I have done research on subjects for myself in the past but never have I commited to keeping others informed only to find that the information was hidden, or nonexistant. There are still many questions that are not answered in the US and Japan, and I don't want to close my eyes again, but this time because I experienced the need of others for truth and direction. I'm starting at home, teaching my family, and learning how people respond from them. It is a very delicate subject, people are so afraid they HAVE TO shut it out to continue to function when the leaders they rely on will not assist in honestly solving the problem. They must be included in positive change to stay ingaged, see forward progress. Government must stop tossing the ball back and forth, someone must take the ball and run with it, before it comes crashing down.
No parties, just people, flesh and blood and those they love. We are writing letters and sharing everything we learn. Mainly we are teaching the children who it appears will inherit this timebomb.

Also, you should take a look at the changes a calling and email campaign have made at the NRC. They are actively opening topics for descussion. One is on How to Petition The N R C For Changes In Regulations, paraphrase. A primer in bugging the NRC into effective action and oversight. I might work that into conversation the next time I have a group of teens listening to my prattle.

Yeah, There are Cancer molecules marching across my screen again, I leave the machine on once in awhile so something gets done while I'm accomplishing nothing...
