Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

No errors so far...

I noticed that when workstation restarts, some BETA tasks reset themselves and start from the beginning. Is it possible that they didn't have enough time to flush themselves upon system restart?

On this quad GPUGrid is running on the GPU.
About 8% to each performance should added because of CPU-time stolen by that project.

The Athlons should do better. The setting for the pagefile was: "Managed by the system automatically". Changed this into size managed by the system.
The size was not fixed, but perhaps it makes a bit of difference, because of a the large number of pages to page in CEP2. Or is slower, because those two machines are running Windows 7.
To make it effective i have to reboot, but cannot whilst running 4 BETA's with all different checkpoints sad

Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

Why so many? I've received around 90 of these with no problems. Seems like a large amount for a third or forth test. confused

Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

I've gotten 11 so far on 3 machines. I watched one near completion at around 12 hours, and the (Elapsed - CPU) time was only 8 minutes, quite reasonable, considering I use the screensaver. Also, it ran up to 100%, unlike the Linux version which would never make it past 60% in normal operation. Four have completed and are in PV, and I still have one in PV from the last round.

(Edit) I might even make silver soon with all of these! wink

Can you post your stderr and stdout from the slots dir of the wu?

Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

The Betas are now going to systems based on the new CEP2 preferences; to profile member systems with Yes for Run The Clean Energy Project - Phase 2 without restrictions. So now systems with less bandwidth than reccomended can get the Betas.

- Noticed that my i7 picked up 8 tasks at once. Thing is, I had Boinc set to only use 5 threads.
