Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

I have 5 still doing the PV tango,

I hope we don't have to wait for all the PV's to be validated for the Tech's to make a decision...

Per my stats tracker, about 1,100 have come back as of noon. The 1,000 at quorum 2 + repairs etc would call for probably another 1,100+ results to come back... yup an early call it seems :D

also got 2 on my good ol' two-core and letting them run simultaneously. they set a second checkpoint at 22 minutes which looks pretty promising to me because i never made it to a checkpoint past 8 minutes running cep2 on a virtual machine :)

Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

I got 19 tasks: for every core 1 BETA.
Pushed them in front of the queue and started them concurrently.
4 quads
1 duo (switched from Linux to Vista to fetch Beta's there too)
1 single

Re: BETA Clean Energy Project phase 2 version 6.35

Would be nice if you logged the Elapsed-CPU time diffs. BOINCTasks does it for me, but it would be nice if the techs could modify the Result Log to actually write that final checkpoint CPU seconds total in, in addition to the last restore time of job #14 (15 completed). It would document for everyone unquestionable in larger volume what the efficiency is without having to do hoops (the Linux and Mac crunchers who cant run the BOINCTasks tool).

What part? These app files are "one time". I've found that once they are in the download-pipe and limiting the download bandwidth in the prefs to 48KB they come down smoothly without restarting/timing out. After, the real task downloads in few seconds.

The part file size 66 MB- downloaded 97 mb- time to go 12 minutes- completed 100%.

Indeed download is working nice and I know, that this is no real problem- so there was a smiley. biggrin
