When nelsoc posted the he has fixed it, it was really working for about 30 mins. But then the forum crashed - can't remember the error but it was like "init system". When the forum was up, the problem goes back again.

My quads have run out of work. I have my profiles set send me work from another project if there is no work available.

I'll crunch some Docking projects while waiting for this problem to be resolved.

Update: It appears the message queues that deliver the updates from the website to boinc are getting held up. I was able to clear them and the changes I made to My Projects and my Device Profiles (before clearing the queues) were subsequently pushed to my computer (when I updated the project).

To compound the issue, the checks on the queues had crashed, so the tech team wasn't notified of the problem, where as normally we'd get emails and text messages and dogs barking and fire alarms.

We're not sure what the cause of the underlying issue is, but since the queue checks are working again, we will at least be notified if something goes wrong. We'll continue to monitor the queues and this thread over the weekend and look more closely for a root cause on Monday.

nelsoc, thanks, my quad is now happily crunching at 100% again and the beta hoover profile has been deleted. Guess 7 days beta in three years means my bronze is still another three years away.

Not necessarily. I didn't get any Betas the last two times but I usually get a few. Hang in there.
