MORECAMBE & WISE "Bring me Sunshine "

Bring me sunshine
in your smile
bring me laughter all the while
In this world where we live
there should be more happiness
So much joy you can give
to each brand new bright tomorrow
Make me happy through the years
never bring me any tears
Let your arms be as warm as the sun from up above
Bring me fun bring me sunshine and bring me love

by Arthur Kent and Sylvia Dee

Here's Eric's Stature in Mor e Cam Be. Morecombe being a Seaside town on the West Coast 48.5 miles from here as the crow flies

These are the 4 reactors of Chapelcross

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chapelcross_nuclear_power_station

They were commissioned in 1959 and continued to generate electricity up until 2004

They were built to provide additional Plutonium for the British Nuclear Weapons push when it was realised that the nearby Calder Hall reactors (Windscale/Sellafield) were not making sufficient quantities. Electricity a handy by-product of the rush to have the Atom Bomb.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

This the harbour of Cemaes on the island of Anglesey, North Wales on Sunday

Not 2 miles away looking back across the bay

and if you turn through 180 degrees..

The UK's oldest running Nuclear Power Station . Turned back on the 13th July. Wylfa is the last of its type. Only running by combining the fuel from both of its reactors into 1. This station is the only one being run by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (which can’t be a good sign) this last run will net it £100,000,000 http://www.magnoxsites.co.uk/2014/07/wylfa-back-online/ watch the video

On the other side along with Security

There’s groundwork’s everywhere

For the new build

Just one of the new build sites that are being justified on Nuclear Power being clean, safe and carbon neutral

Spectacularly fails on the first 2 counts and the climate doesn’t give a monkeys about 0.04% of the atmosphere being CO2

I can’t figure out a way to stop the new build except by holding this up to the light

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Anglesey is a beautiful peaceful place distinctly separate from the mainland.
Somehow life's pressures are left on the other side of the Menai Strait

I've been in and seen a lot of beautiful places en-route

That's 6 I have visited in the last Month (9 so far in total)

As a result the lads at work have now posted a Radiation Hazard sign on the back of my chair

The message is being heard

There goes another weather station

Don't suspect it's quite so chilly in Germany

Chocolate Teapots and Ashtrays for Motorbikes spring to mind.

Nice new paint job to whitewash reality I see
