----------------------------------------That reactor was supposed to be in cold shutdown... Mine with the lifeboat above has since tripped out See Torness in this link http://www.edfenergy.com/energy/power-station/daily-statuses  It's currently consuming 44 Mega Watts keeping the pumps running. The ones that failed at Fukushima as the Tsunami hit That 44MW is coming from the National Grid - you know the one that in a cold snap could not now meet the UK demand for electricity. |
