For the record: 2,112,000 sq kms > than normal

Antarctic Sea Ice

Previously I used the phrase "rarely I would counter have we recorded it freezing more"

This can now be substituted with this phrase "never I would counter have we recorded it freezing more"

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2014/j...rtnership-toys-oil-arctic

Was offered the chance to get a tiny Lego Ferrari when I topped up with Diesel last year and I laughed

A week later I thought I know who would like one of those, my 16 year old Nephew biggrin I ended up, as usual, pre-loading the Windows 8 (pour soul) Laptop my Sister had bought him for Christmas so I hid it in there as a surprise - with some irony, given his age.

Lego is the best toy you can buy a child. Not the prescriptive - you can use these bricks to build this thing jigsaw puzzle style - just a whole load of bricks the power unit and the cogs chains and wheels

The rest is experimentation and imagination. It can't be a bad thing being challenged to think and solve problems.

Who doesn't, who has owned lego, look at the Burj Kalifa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burj_Khalifa with some degree of concern?

Lego one of the best things to come out of Denmark along with Sandi Toksvig and Bacon

Mmmmm Bacon.....

In 1969 I took an oath to defend and protect the U S Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and Domestic. There was no expiration date.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Just as Dungeness is my Kids local Nuclear Power Station mine is probably http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartlepool_Nuclear_Power_Station

though Heysham is maybe closer

This one is 58 miles away in the industrial port that is Hartlepool not remote from any centres of population in any way shape or form

Is was built in 1969 so it's as old as my Sister (Don't tell her I told you biggrin)
The Government have proposed this is a good site, right by the Sea in what used to be Cleveland with over 1/2 million people inside 12 miles of this place, for a new one !

It was supposed to be closed in 2009 will now be kept running until 2024

By which time it will be 55 years old. I mean it's not looking tired and old at all !!

10 more years - what could possibly go wrong?
