Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The April 2013 Central England Temperature now officially 7.5C

Ranks alongside, joint 118th lowest out of 355 years, 1671,1674,1676,1677,1692,1694,1698,1712,1714,1717,1718,1720,1722,1745,1753,1765,1857,1859,1861,1902,
1911 and 1925

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/cetml1659on.dat

January 3.5C----0.3C below normal
February 3.2C----0.6C below normal
March 2.7C----3.0C below normal
April 7.5C----0.4C below normal

Normal is taken to be the average monthly mean temperatures 1961-90

Really hoping for an unseasonably warm (hopefully hot) May as this joke just isn't funny anymore

Leaves on the trees only just making an appearance in the last couple of days!

Dave

For the first 4 months of this year 1.06C below average

Don't forget to turn all our Coal Power Stations off because of the warming. Oh and while you're at it could you build more of those safe, clean, green Nuclear Power Stations with zero carbon footprint because they don't have any downsides at all.

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

..and alongside turning off perfectly viable Coal Power Stations in the UK

I bring you

http://www.sheffieldtelegraph.co.uk/news/busi...van-ban-madness-1-5600044

Sheffield Ice Cream Van replacement to save us all from the scourge of the imaginary Man Made Global Warming. Maybe if true they would be able to afford a new Van or 2 as we enjoyed the warmer weather.....

That'll be Sheffield, former home of the British Steel Industry, the former home of fine cutlery the globe over

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

I was beginning to wonder if I would ever see this again

http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/hadobs/hadcet/cet_info_mean.html

The average temperature for May (to the 2nd) is average

shhh Don't say this too loud but we may get a rare glimpse of the Sun for our Bank Holiday Weekend here in the UK cool

Without resorting to this http://sdo.gsfc.nasa.gov/data/SDO_Self_Updating_6.htm
