Good morning everyone, a bright start to the day lets hope it continues.Two weeks on friday and I am off to the annual re-union of veterans. a chance to catch up on the "good" old days over the odd dram or six. Needless to say, I am looking forward to it! Strange isn't it? Looking forward to a weekend away with a load of old men and old ladies! biggrin

The Marines a load of 'Old Ladies' surely you mean Old Laddies? biggrin

As that supreme Royal 'Ol King Cole once said ; " there's none as fair as you can compere with the boys of the Infantry" biggrin

War on two fronts Den, she 'who must be obeyed' aka 'her in doors', was RAF cool

not being a good swimmer or be able to fly I avoided becoming either a Jolly tar or a Brylcreem boy settling for the worlds finest Infantry instead. wink

now how did that happen cool

i blame the internet at work...then again I don't suppose they give us access so I can read the boards devilish

it was 32°C here cool

and they're predicting the very unflemish number of 36° tomorrow...pity we never saw the use in a law that says you don't have to go to work when it's hot

Evening all

The weather gods were kind to me so the country walk was without rain and warm without the high temperatures of yesterday.

Off tomorrow to daughter No 1 to help her with the trauma of dealing with a new computer so as not to lose anything valuable on her current one which I knocked up for her about 5 years ago. (She does have a modern laptop provided by the school, so it didn't get dumped earlier.

Have a smashing weekend Ted. I'm sure the pints well flow down like nectar.
