Thoughts about nuffin in particular
----------------------------------------Names ********************* Mum had a friend called Peace, who was born circa 1918 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Further up our road a nieghbours mut was called Monty this in the 1940's, he being a free spirit went and courted another dog down the road called Sally (our Gracie?) Who produced my first Dog whom we called Nipper (who was a look alike for the HMV Dog) Nipper was the first of two dogs I have had called nipper >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Pals at school were called Peter, John,Cyril,Colin,Ivan, And Jimmy and that was just the girls Penelope, Janet , Isabel , Rossena ,Margaret, Mary & Christine seemed to be round every corner I don't recall any named after stars from the silver screen nor any that took a name from their conception place . I suppose I am an owld git and consider the current crop of appellation's just daft >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> then we have Frocks what when did they stop being a dress??? or even start being a dress Sorry I'm just a bloke While I'm at it what's this rubbish about umpires wearing nose shades in England as observed on the telly soft affectation or what I didn't know the north south divide climate is that strong just cant see Dickie bird conforming to this fashion his white cap did duty for years ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Aug 21, 2009 7:06:43 PM] |

Evening all
Successful day with daughter after the usual odd snags when dealing with computers and new software but got the old drive in a caddy and so she has lost nothing important. What a young lot you all are. I'll keep quiet for the moment as a senile old man. |
