Good morning everyone.
---------------------------------------- Thanks Ted for the message about JP. He's the reason I'm with the team, having invited me over from GRID. We'll keep him in our prayers and hope for a speedy recovery. Now, for my friends in England. Do you go to London or do you avoid it like the plague? I watch Top Gear when I can and have seen them try several challenges in London. I hate big cities and mass congestion and London seems to be right up there with both. Friday they were testing a street legal F1 car. Y'all have such fun stuff over there, that thing would never be allowed on the street here.Y'all have a great day. ![]()

Pity they don't introduce the 21 rule here. Have a great day all ........... Old Sage |

Regents Park, by the Bandstand 11 a.m. Sunday 23rd August Sadly Alan, I really think it is a bit too far for me at present. Still not got 100% mobility back yet. But I will be with you all in spirit. Please give my love and best wishes to all 'the gang'. If anyone will be taking photos, I should love to see them!! Need to see if everyone is aging at the same rate as me. ![]() |

Evening all
Get well soon JP it's too quiet on the grid without you. As for by the bandstand in the Park - been there, done that for three years. Why didn't the rest of you join us? We understand your difficulties Merle and are looking forward to next year when you should be sprinting again. |

Good morning all, Actually, I'm having a little problem - I crunch on a variety of work machines - development servers, testing computers and so on, but they keep stopping at random (machines get restarted etc). So what I was wondering is does anyone have an app or tool which can "check" if its running on a machine? i.e. something I can hit to just check that the boinc service is indeed running on the different machines? Not sure if anyone has answered this, but I've been using BoincView for a number of years. Takes a bit to setup, but works like a charm. Not only can you view the progress of your client machines, but you can also manipulate the project(s) from your main computer. On another note...Hopefully JP is on the mend and back in action soon. |

I am worked in the house a bit yesterday and my hand is all sore (i don't quite whether I'll get away with blaming the fact that I hit the hand in question with a hammer on old age though )off to work! ![]() |
