Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome back.
I need a few days to get back into the swing of things around here and hopefully will become as useful as I used to be to everyone on WCG. Even though I have made the million, I have a long way to go to catch up especially as I can only use two machines at the moment! |

Arrgggghhhh....
----------------------------------------I installed the wireless usb module on my laptop. And it still won't connect to the internet, it keeps saying i'm not connected. I've done everything the way it says to do SO. Why isn't it working? Why don't they make this easier :( Mike.. ![]() |

I can't seem to connect the laptop to the wireless router. It requires a passphrase or a key. I have 2 different ones, and i've entered both. Nothing seems to work. This isn't supposed to be this difficult.

Hello.
Check your wireless router and see if the passkeys match up with the ones you have. Go to the computer that's hooked up the the router. Open a browser and type in http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1 (depends on your router). The default user/password should be something like admin/admin if you didn't change it. Then go to Wireless settings and check your encryption key. |

Hey Blizzie, as regards your laptop, that's a tough situation. The problem with laptops is obviously heat. Even Steve's Alienware laptop overheated quickly. Once it gets toasty, it declocks itself. The same goes for graphics. So basically, don't expect any kind of quality graphics in a laptop. If I were you, I'd try to bring a desktop and buy a cheap laptop.
