And Filipo will have to make do with watching; what a pity.

I'm sure Felipo Will be there, and no doubt driven around the circuit in an open car but not quite the appearance that he might have wished
----------------------------------------I think he has a Huge fan base there & along with Rubino will be treated to a heroes reception . |

Didn't we see something from Ferrari on Speed tv about them asking for a test for Felipe? I thought that's what was the paper that was shown to Peter Windsor during the pre-race show was about. If so I wonder if he will be certified to race? It would be nice!! But then what about Fisi? Does he become a backup already? ![]() ![]() |

Latest I have on the Chance of Felipe getting back on in a race is pretty small.
----------------------------------------However he is expected to have a drive in a 2007 car with GP 2 slicks on as schumi drove a few weeks back This is a medical test to see how he stands up to the forces generated in a F1 car I understand the other teams have no objection to this going on. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/10/10059.html |

I see that Renault have signed Kubica for next year so the thought of them dropping out seems to have receded.

Good Luck to Robert, although he hasn't made the Podium too many times since taking a full time race seat .I watched him do very well as a test driver in the days when the teams bought spare cars to the game.
----------------------------------------He showed promise often beating the regular drivers of all teams I know its not the same as the real racing but never the less seemed to be a sound pair of hands. The Sauber Team say they will announce their driver line up at a later date as well I expect who will be the Engine supplier/Partner........ |

Good Luck to Robert, although he hasn't made the Podium too many times since taking a full time race seat. Hopefully with a better car he can do better! The BMW is just not consistent or is too much on the ragged edge to be considered good. The Force India cars are doing really well here near the end of the season and could have a race or 2. This despite them being so different from the Ferrari that Fisi is having some immense problems adjusting! Fisi almost won a race in the Force India but can't seem to do much of anything in the Ferrari. The Ferrari being my example of a highly and technically advanced car. Obviously the Ferrari too is so close to the ragged edge it is either good for bad! Seems to me that Teams need to build a car not quite so technically advanced that it can win one race, but so that it has a wide enough 'sweet spot' that it can win multiple races. Kind of like the Brawn and Red Bull cars are doing!! How have Ferrari, McLaren, BMW and the others missed that mark so widely, this year, with all of their many years of racing experience?! Are they so full of themselves that they thought they could not fail? If so this year is definitely a 'wake up call'!! And what about Toyota? With all of their racing heritage one would think that they could produce a car that would can consistently be near the pointy end of the grid on a regular basis! Is the driver soooo important that a bad decision in choice of a driver is the difference between a good season and a horrible one? If so some of these Teams need to change how and who is picking their drivers! Yes cars are only about 1 1/2 seconds between 1st and last during qualifying but on race day, they are not even close!! 1 1/2 seconds per lap over 40 laps is not the times we are seeing during the race between the first and last place cars!! ![]() ![]() |

Interactive, Formula One: Who will the teams sign up for 2010? Maurice Hamilton weighs up the options for next season.. He missed the USF1 Team altogether. This site says Jonathan Summerton, 21 years old already has a website saying he is one of their drivers!
