As I said in my last post, I didn't expect the Brawns to do much so when I returned home and saw the result I was a bit surprised.
It now begins to look that the championship is Button's to lose. |

And so the open secret has now been confirmed by Ferrari but it's yet to be said that Kimi will actually go to McLaren, only that he is leaving the red cars,

So the televised practice on Speed was kind of a bust! In Nascar, I know the dreaded word, but anyway they have vehicles driving around the track in the rain to do as David Hobb's suggested, to pump the water off the track. Why can't F1 do that with maybe some kind of local vehicles that are contracted for that purpose. The tires on my car pump water away, not nearly as fast as F1 full wet tires, but they do pump water away. Maybe talk to all the Teams and since they aren't out there anyway put the red light on for the track and drive around for 15 minutes or whatever. On tracks where the GP2 cars are they could even use those cars as they have full wet tires too. Now a speed limit would have to be enforced to avoid an incident closing the track and avoiding any further problems. But as we all noticed as the cars drove around a racing lane appeared and the cars got faster. Maybe even F1 could allow more tires for the Teams if they chose to go out under the wet conditions. Yes I know they only bring so many tires to each track but what happened to the full wet tires they had at the 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc races of this season? Not all of those had rain and so tires should be left over. It just seems ridiculous to have 'butts in the seats' and no cars going around the track.

I think it's just regarded as hard luck in free practice but let's hope the qualifying tomorrow is free from problems.
