Re: The Formula One Thread

Nelson P talks about going to the states to keep his hand in before trying to get back where he belongs in F1 maybe a year he thinks laughing

He is finished in F1 unless Daddy buys him a team.
The boy is soiled goods.

But since he is under contract to Flavio for at least another year, as a driver, I wonder if Flavio will let him out of it. Since Flavio's guys can't get a superlicense I wonder if jr's career is effectively over? Flavio can't be a happy camper with the Piquet's right now and might actually fight to keep this contract just to keep jr out of racing.

I still can't believe that the FIA would give him a free pass when he caused the accident on purpose!! Why would any Team in the future want him, because he is a good little soldier? Obviously he comes with A LOT of baggage attached!! For that matter why would ANY Team ANYWHERE want him? He has a bad race and gets his nickers in a bunch and he turns the Officials on the Team for revenge! And daddy comes along for the ride! No thanks, if I were a Team owner he would never be allowed near my Team!!! I don't care if I delivered pizzas for a living, jr is NOT my guy!!

It doesn't really matter now, as he's done anyway.
The sponsors and fans will sack him regardless.
I feel too that the drivers Assoc. should be condemning his on track behaviour a little louder.

Re: The Formula One Thread

Brawn GP’s Rubens Barrichello will be handed a penalty by race stewards after his car needed a new gearbox ahead of qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix. Barrichello will drop five places on the grid as a result of the change.

The Brazilian covered 16 laps during Saturday’s final practice session to finish seventh in the timesheets, without suffering any noticeable problems in his BGP001. However, the team have been concerned about the box since start-line issues in Belgium and have opted not to risk it any further.

This season the regulations state that gearboxes must last four race weekends.

,
Now could we wait for the race please , many thanks wink

Re: The Formula One Thread

Used to live/work 45 minutes from Monza and fly low, 2 hours from Imola, back when it was still a raw-ish sport and every time I think of it traversing the Milano-Bologna motorway is being overtaken by Hi suspension F1 look a likes behind a minibus doing 190 km or so. And in the opposite direction feeling like I was parked, over taken by one going 145 km or so, on the back of a flatbed.

Enjoy the race, and may the reds win ;D
