Welcome to the stragglers from UD.
----------------------------------------I too had quite a few units/points 'over there' (#17/27/32 in individual production) but it's all poof, back to crunching & climbing. Make yourself at home, stop down at The Bar & have a nice cold one on me. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

HI, I can give you a good reason to join a team. How about saving millions of children killed by ignorance and immorality? Join team abortionNO.org and spread the word. Visit http://www.abortionno.org/ to see the biggest crime this world has ever seen, over and over, every day and judge by yourself. And that is an advice for everybody here, on this forum. Hope you are not scared by my activism. I promise I will not bother you on this subject. Happy life to everybody, who was lucky enough to be aloud one in the first place. In the interests of forum peace I'll be as polite on this issue as I can. Abortion is not a disease and thats what we're here to fight: Disease. This isn't a political forum and your positions as well as mine on abortion do not belong here. It is and should be a personal choice. Your wanting to push your opinion on the matter down someones throat isn't approiate here or in everyday life. Thanks for reading. ![]() |

It is not nice to shout about crime and invite someone to some site without warning them about the shocking videos they play there... You should have warned people over here! Maybe there are children visiting the WCG forum... Just my €0,02 [update]: altered the url...

Please ignore it, guys (and you may want to edit your own posts to remove the link you quoted). Nelsoc will be along sooner or later, and if it needs removing, it will go.
That said, we can and do have ethical and political discussions - which is fine so long as it remains civil. But it would have to be a separate thread in the chatroom. And a final thought: WCG are about more than disease. Future projects may target poverty, famine, or environmental disasters. Anything humanitarian is considered. |

nice numbers... I wonder if they are all refugees... Hi, just wanted to say hello - I've just joined WCG a few days ago, moved from grid.org. In fact there were two big teams, Easynews and Team 2ch, and people in the latter team are moving to WCG since last week. |

Team 2ch have been very quiet in this forum (probably less in theirs
---------------------------------------- ) but their stats are already very impressive. The graphs in their stats page look like staircases for giants! And they are still joining at a high rate... And more than 50% directly with BOINC. Very efficient. Jean. |

The Edwardians arrived from Grid Org at the end of April, and have settled in rather fast! The welcome we have received is great, thank you all!
My own experience of Grid Org???? Joined april 2001 thrown out April 2007 (was it something I said?). and yes we did pay the rent (ending in the top 250 teams!) ![]() |

Hi, actually Team 2ch consists of mostly Japanese and the site "2ch" is the biggest community site in Japan, and many communites had UD thread - and since then, people seemed to decide to move to WCG/BOINC. Actually many people there are enthusiastic about WCG and more is coming over. It was #1 team in UD anyway... |
