Yes, this is the primary part of the ramp up. Between now and monday, the people that didnt switch for some reason, will. Else they will be part of a fairly quick taper. BUT you can actualy see the stats rizing globaly.

It's d-day+7.... a week after grid.org's shutdown...
----------------------------------------Many member found their way to the WCG. Most of them settled in, took a good look at BOINC and installed it... It's good to see all those familiar names!! Now, it's time to look at the stats.... members devices This means WCG has gained 6091 members in one week and those members added some 15370 devices! At this pace, we're going to cross the 300.000 member milestone in just a few weeks (but the great exodus is near it's end I'm afraid) Well done and happy crunching! [update]: comparing RatOMeter's stats of yesterday, it seems nobody joined today...

[update]: comparing RatOMeter's stats of yesterday, it seems nobody joined today... Not sure of the timings, but like 800 were added on May 3, from the normal past weekday additions of 250-350. Usually the graph link in my sig gives the prior day closing figure for members and devices that returned 1 or more results. May 03, 2007 close at 23:59 UTC was 287990 / 606550

comparing RatOMeter's stats of yesterday, it seems nobody joined today... Depending on the time of day the server updates stats, you may not see any change until after the daily update runs. I see that type of thing in the GM systems all the time.    |

We'll be passing the 300,000 member mark and 90,000 year mark very soon  |

Moved 3 machines over so far, have another 6 hopefully this weekend and am building myself a nice new system in the next few weeks which should help. Once I move back to my house, hopefully over the summer, I will have another 3 or 4 to add. That's beginning to look more like the MM crunching farm we knew and loved.
