Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Well, here come the spring storms, right on time. A funny evening here. A string of storms came through and kind of split. Just northwest of here, they got 2-inch hail, and more bad thunderstorms passed to the southeast. So far we've had hardly anything.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Just rain in the St cloud area. Did see a big red cell just north of us. This line of rain going back towards Colorado coming this way should soak us good. Just hope the bad storms stay away.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

I was given as a present two tickets to see Red Green last night at College of St. Catherine's O'Shaughnessy Auditorium. I am not much for going out to these kinds of things, but it was a present and a fund raiser for public television. So I went with my wife. Some of his material I had heard before from seeing his show, but some of it was new. All of it was funny. He has a good delivery and did two hours of comedy with only one instance of the word h*** in the whole two hours. Most of it was funny because his observations have so much truth in them. It turned out to be a pretty good show. From the way the audience laughed I think most everybody enjoyed themselves.

One of his observations was there are 4 ways to get a man to eat some foods. Put salt on it, put sugar on it, put barbecue sauce on it or say that it will be thrown out tomorrow . My wife just looked at me when he said that because I am in the fourth category because I don't want to waste anything.

Man I love the Red Green show. Does Steve Smith do his stand up shows in character (as Red Green)? I've always wanted to go see one.

He certainly does. Well worth the time and money. I had a good time.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Not sure what's happening lately but my PV jail has been 4 pages long lately. Folks must be backing off with the heat climbing lately. I noticed my temps in my harpertown rig climbing lately with the rise of temps.

Re: Minnesota Crunchers

Once I need to run the AC I'm definitely throttling back my quad cores to 2 or 3 cores, makes a big difference on the power bill.

Hey, it's Minnesota. You should not have to have air conditioning on until at least mid June. laughing

Yeah but since the government says we are currently in global warming, (cough cough BS), should be cranking up the AC next month. biggrin

Still some very nice weather here, should still have some frost on next week love struck

Basically gray, gray, gray, dark, mist, gray, gray.......

I cannot say why but happen to like it now a days....

It just so peaceful and all that tranquility...
