Got 8 WU for OPN1. (linux x86_64 kernel 5.4.0-11-generic)
And this notification : "World Community Grid: Notice from BOINC This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add https://master.worldcommunitygrid.org/" |

Got 8 WU for OPN1. (linux x86_64 kernel 5.4.0-11-generic) And this notification : "World Community Grid: Notice from BOINC This project is using an old URL. When convenient, remove the project, then add https://master.worldcommunitygrid.org/" I have the same notice. I did as instructed and promptly got the same notice all over again, but no work units. Something is not right. |

Ralf From WCG - where else :-) - check these forums - several of us have received new WUs to process despite the fact that WCG have not yet indicated work is available. I suspect only a small amount of WUs were released for a test? Update: WCG have now formally announced a test run...

I have WUs running on 2 machines while 3 others are idle. I've completed several WUs and got more.

Plug in https://master.worldcommunitygrid.org/ to your browser, and you will end up at. https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/ In how many threads and posts do we have to say to people to ignore that message from BOINC? It's hundreds of posts by now  If it's that easy for a computer program to make people do stuff that they do not fully understand, then it's no wonder that so many get scammed on the Internet all the time.
