Why not run something else until WCG are back at full production?

Thanks to whoever first pointed out DENIS the other day; I had never heard of them. I've got all my machines cranking over there now and have tuned priorities so that it should continue to get 20-25% of my CPU time after WCG is once again operational.

yes, thank you for DENIS. DENIS looks interesting. However, it uses only CPU and not GPU, right? |

Can we move the DENIS talk to another thread? Is there a forum moderator? This thread should be for WCG updates, and while temporary projects are a valid topic for now...this isn't the place.

If they move the Denis thread somewhere else, this can go with it. I had put Denis on one of my machines, but was getting zero workunits. After a bit of searching I found out they only have Beta work units and you have to check the box under the project preferences for beta units. The option is not under the computing preferences.

I doubt that this will ever be the case, what a shame |

You posted that a couple of weeks ago. I assume you know that work has been going out, starting some time last week I think. I have 14 work units across my machines as I type for example. I have African Rainfall, Open Pandemics and Mapping Cancer Marker task at the moment.
