Hear hear. My 20-thread i9-10900 is also waiting. At least its integrated graphics are doing something for Einstein@Home!

Re: WCG Team Update

Why not run something else until WCG are back at full production?

DENIS, Rosetta, SiDock and TnGrid all have medical related tasks.

Re: WCG Team Update

Thanks to whoever first pointed out DENIS the other day; I had never heard of them. I've got all my machines cranking over there now and have tuned priorities so that it should continue to get 20-25% of my CPU time after WCG is once again operational.

DENIS looks interesting. However, it uses only CPU and not GPU, right?

Re: WCG Team Update

Can we move the DENIS talk to another thread? Is there a forum moderator? This thread should be for WCG updates, and while temporary projects are a valid topic for now...this isn't the place.

Re: WCG Team Update

If they move the Denis thread somewhere else, this can go with it. I had put Denis on one of my machines, but was getting zero workunits. After a bit of searching I found out they only have Beta work units and you have to check the box under the project preferences for beta units. The option is not under the computing preferences.
Cheers

well, talking about other projects than WCG would not happen if there were finally WCG tasks available.
I doubt that this will ever be the case, what a shame sad

Re: WCG Team Update

You posted that a couple of weeks ago. I assume you know that work has been going out, starting some time last week I think. I have 14 work units across my machines as I type for example. I have African Rainfall, Open Pandemics and Mapping Cancer Marker task at the moment.
