Thanks for the July 1 update post. It helps to know there is someone at WCG aware of our slightly obsessive daily habit of checking the task lists and results on every one of our clients (Mac, Linux Laptop, RaspberryPi currently) even though they have not seen a task in forever. My "clients" and I are eager to get back to work. This has been part of my daily routine for 17 years, and the ripple in my universe from looking into the black hole of tasks has been unsettling. It shouldn't matter so much but it does for unknown reasons.

Since the update of the server i have : 02/07/2022 08:13:48 | World Community Grid | Scheduler request failed: HTTP service unavailable Is that the server not working or a problem with my coputer. Hi Cyclops and welcome! Being an ad agency excecutive for decades, I completely understand the task that was put on your shouldes -- it's crisis communication that even senior PR specialists wouldn't consider easy. Not the most comfortable place to start as an intern, but then again it's the fastest way to learn to swim to be thrown into the water :) And although people (including myself) are frustrated to get things working again and some express it less politely, I can see that most people are still very understanding. Having such a wonderful and supportive community is certainly something that helps A LOT in your tasks and -- makes it worthwhile :)

So in the mean time I've abandoned WCG and deleted BOINC of all my machines and running folding@home.
