Right. There are no new workunits being distributed at the moment, only resends. So, unless you would be amongst the 'lucky' ones to receive a resend, like the one below, then it's waiting for the floodgates to be reopened.

Just popped on to say Hi.
Still no ARP. Do I understand this correctly that this is a ARP issue (hard drive space) and not a WCG problem??Can't be mad at WCG for projects that don't send out data if it isn't a WCG issue. I miss being here, and seeing the project progress though, so I just popped on to check. I'm doing WUs for another site as a backup, but it isn't as fun. Nowhere really has the community that SETI had, but WCG was fun. |

Just popped on to say Hi. Hi Unixchick, Still no ARP. Do I understand this correctly that this is a ARP issue (hard drive space) and not a WCG problem? From post 678627 one can learn indeed that "The ARP1 team is in the middle of a large-scale backup of existing results to tape and as a result have not been able to download additional results from our servers.", but that issue was resolved that same day: "Following a discussion with the ARP1 team, today we increased that threshold enough to allow WCG servers to download some new work, which started flowing out to members earlier today."However, that led to the ARP1 download issues again (see post 678675). The following statement was posted a few days later: "We recognize that some projects have been given more workunits to crunch than others, and we are working to equalize the distribution. ARP project is starting again with more workunits available soon and HSTB is going to re-start in the coming weeks." (see post 678894 in the thread where you posted, too, Unixchick ).At least, that is what I can make of it at the moment. ![]() I miss being here, Life's what you make it, Unixchick. |

Wonderful sumation, Adriverhoef ! Thank you.
It sounds like ARP are still having issues on their end, and that WCG gave them some more space on WCG servers which gave us our last batch of WUs, but that ARP still is having issues on their end, and have used up the extra space given to them by WCG. Hopefully ARP will get everything backed up to tape soon, and can collect the completed ARPs off of the WCG servers, thus giving them more room for new WUs to send to us. I have yet (ever) to get a HSTB WU, but I have it selected, and would love a 15 day badge in that project. |

Sunday Report .
298 units validated in 7 days so anaverage of 42.6 per day, 2.5% of last week due to the lack of new work yet again.. Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are 1,732,201 units still outstanding, so my forecast end date would now be 13 September 2026, however we are still coming out of testing so we should finish well before then. The definitions have remained unchanged. There ae main 40 Extremes and 21 Accelerated units, although the numbers in their generations are 212 & 5,267 due to lack of movement.. Mike |

The last 2 outstanding results were returned on Monday after an average of 22 days from first issue.
We now seem to be totally dry! Mike |
