Hi all, sorry for the late reply. We posted a new forum update about the HTTP errors and if you have any other specific questions for us please leave them in that thread.

My device-caches had so many tasks (i.e. OPN1 and MCM1) in their queues, that the swiftly downloaded (thanks to wcgresults -x in their crontabs) ARP1-tasks still haven't started running yet. when that happens to me I pause everything else to get the ARP started, then unpause them again ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by AlanS at Dec 13, 2022 7:40:49 AM] |

looks like we are no longer getting fresh ARPs, but I'm getting resends at the moment.

I'm not getting any ARP at all, despite running a script to check for new work every 5 mins

Are there restrictions on who gets the shorter due date WUs?
like resends? like extremes? I keep my queue short for this reason. I remember there being something like that, but after a couple of nights of little sleep (life hit a bump, but is getting better). I can't remember it all, or have energy to search. |

there certainly were restrictions when IBM were responsible, but now we are getting so many "No Reply".
Krembil have changed the deadlines but don't seem to be being selective as to who gets what. They also don't seem to be blacklisting anyone for no replies. Mike |

Sunday Report . We are back in action but only 5 units validated since. Assuming that a full generation 182 will be the last, there are 1,732,238 units still outstanding (last week's figure was incorrect due to a typo). My forecasting remains suspended! The definitions have remained unchanged. There ae main 40 Extremes and 21 Accelerated units, although the numbers in their generations are 212 & 5,267 due to lack of movement.. Mike Is there a confirmation from the ARP research team that 182 will be the last generation? I assume the estimate "182" came from this old thread: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ead,41967_offset,0#617582 |

I have seen the figure since Krembil restarted, but you never know with academic projects that are dependent on available funding.
Your thread refers 182 generations but did not allow for generation 000, so finishing with 182 means a total of 183 generations (366 days). We are not crunching a leap year so we would seem to be going 1 day over the year rather than falling 1 day short. Mike |

To get the full year if each generation is 48 hours, you need to get the extra day to actually finish out the year. Cheers

I think the special scripts we have for this project are no longer running. I think more than 5 have been verified lately. The data files are frozen as the scripts that update them are probably not running any more. BUMMER !
