I'm gonna look into that when I return or perhaps during down time while away. Might use it for the longer running projects and keep OET on my home computers. Attack on multiple fronts!!

I'm not using FA@h as a project, so u can have more WUs for getting your badges...so either some1 should make another ECD, or post last batch of downloaded WU...

According to Uplinger, it doesn't matter if you quit crunching a particular project or not, the completion date is not going to change due to the feeder. If the feeder is set to make the weight of FAAH, CEP2, MCM1 and OET to 25%, then it is going to be at 25%. So you may not crunch the WU's for a particular project, but others will. So if the ECD is 30-days, if people deselected a particular project, the people remaining that had more than one project selected will just see more of what you deselected and the ECD will still be 30-days. So if someone is chasing a badge, someone else dropping out of a project is not going to help them, since the person chasing a badge has finite computing resources. They may need to add more threads/cores and if they are not computing 24x7, increase their computing time.

Oh, last WU I received was a minute ago and is:

An example, I'm currently chasing a 20-year badge for FAAH. I have 11 years 309 days right now. In order for me to get to 20 years, I need 8 years and 56 days of additional computing time. Looking at the morning runs for the 14th to the 15th, I did 123 days just on FAAH. From the morning runs of the 15th to the 16th, I did 147 days. So I can complete a years of computing in around 3 days. So if there are 24 days of WU's left, I can get to 20 years. If there is say 20-days left, then I would not reach the 20 year badge unless I added more computing resources.

Received this WU a minute ago:
----------------------------------------FAHV_ x3QRS-A-AS_ 0905976 Using the SekeRob chart that was published on the 12th, we were 99.09% complete and were completing 0.03% per day. He listed 33 days as an ECD. So we are looking at around 29-days for an ECD or the middle of October. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Sep 16, 2015 2:45:37 PM] |

With There are currently about 4.5-5.0 days of Vina work remaining until we run dry again (some resends will still be sent after this). After this round of work units completes, the project will move to an intermittent status and additional work may be available in the future from researchers as needed.

MCM was going UP & DOWN with ECD...look here: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=502593 also, FA@h was going UP & DOWN...if u check only this topic! ![]() Received this WU a minute ago: FAHV_ x3QRS-A-AS_ 0905976 Using the SekeRob chart that was published on the 12th, we were 99.09% complete and were completing 0.03% per day. There's mine estimate of ECD here for 22nd Oct: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=500424 So I was not OFF by much! Unlike SekeRob did his ECD for 30th Sep ( https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=501528 )?! ![]() With There are currently about 4.5-5.0 days of Vina work remaining until we run dry again (some resends will still be sent after this).
