Welcome back to the team Mamajuanauk. Sometimes something comes along and you need to take time for a rethink. Like many others I've been there.
Also 3 Billon points fantastic. ![]() |

Good to see you back Mamajuanauk, any more on the proposed crunchers meeting??? Many thanks. Unfortunately not, due in the main to lack of support...Who know what the future may bring... ![]()

Good Morning All - Insomnia here in Santa Cruz. It's 3:30 am and I feel wide awake. I commissioned the pool yesterday for the first time this year. It was a bit cold but I'm sure it will warm up as we head into summer. My partner's family came round for lunch and somehow 6 bottles of wine evaporated!
----------------------------------------genhos, the other 'Wine' Chef as I recall was Graham Kerr, also, I believe, known as the 'Galloping Gourmet'. He always used wine when cooking. Some of it even made it into his recipes!

Afternoon all.
----------------------------------------RTS48 - dang it, being wide awake in the middle of the night is no fun. I've had a couple of those recently due to being in the midst of selling my home. Will have to lodge with family so will have to cut back on the crunching quite a bit, looks like it will be towards the end of the month. I've heard of the Galloping Gourmet but don't remember seeing him unlike sometimes catching Floyd on TV. I do wonder what their ratio of wine consumed to wine used would have been 6 bottles of wine for lunch, crikey! ![]() |

genhos, the ratio is usually 1 glass of wine in the cooking (carefully measured) and the ret of the bottle down the throat. As you can get a palatable bottle of wine here for about £1.80 sometimes I will open two while cooking and offer my partner a glass too (but only one!)
