Re: Evening all

Good Morning Team. Dark matter.NI - you are quite correct about different flavours. I got the recipes from a web site called http://lovegrowswild.com and it is called no-churn Vanilla ice cream and was posted on 19th August. If you want more recipes then PM me or email me on rod.peel^gmail.com (replace the ^ with the usual symbol).
I had some for breakfast with a slice of apple cake that I made last night. Today I am cooking a Victoria Sponge but haven't decided on the filling yet - probably apple and raisin based.

Re: Evening all

It does sound simple, sure I can mess it up though! Will have to give it a try.
My last attempt at making gingerbread cookies was a bit of a disaster even using a kit with all the ingredients in it. Did give me a good excuse to use my "ninja bread" cutters wink

As you say the team is getting ever closer to 3 billion points and it would be good to have a special visit from our resident statsmeister.

If the team could sing, this would be our song Johnny Remember me.

Time for a slice of coffee cake (not made by me I hasten to add) and a coffee

I don't know if anyone has noticed but our beloved ex member Mamajuanuk has just reached the giddy heights of No. 100 in the world rankings. Congratulations and please come back to the team - we miss you!

+1

Please say hi in the team thread. It would be good to hear from you.

Re: Good morning team.

Hi Team,

I am running out of work units on all systems (a couple are already dry), Boinc says the project severs are down but I can't find anything on the forums about this, anyone know whats going on??

Turned out it was a couple of Beta's that got stuck while downloading, removed them and all was fine again.

After some months of fighting the NHS, my Wife's operation is beginning to get closer (should have been performed over 6 months ago), her Pre-Op appointment is a week on Monday and I would assume, the Operation will be within a short (ISH), space of time after that...

This means that once done, my wife will be out of work for over a year = I need to save as much money as possible = I will be running a basic amount of PC's only (my Zeon 16 core and one of my I7's only sad ).

Another hit for the team (anyone heard from Jonnie & Mama??), but it can't be helped.

Good morning team.

Good morning everyone. smile

TMC I hope all goes well with your wife's forthcoming treatments. You must remember that your family and home comes before anything you do 'volunteering computer time'. smile

Good Morning Team

TMC - I hope everything is successful with your wife operation - I know how difficult it is when a salary is no longer available. Keep ticking over and don't be a stranger here.

Re: Good morning team.

TMC - also wish you both all the best and hope the op goes well for your wife. As I'm sure you already know, volunteer what you can afford to, don't stretch the money too far as family comes first. We'll still be here.
Good to hear that you have found out the cause of your crunching problem.
Pop in as and when you can for a gossip here, the kettle's always on coffee

If the team crunches today at our recent rate then we'll just squeeze past the 3billion points mark.

Right, lunch time!
