Re: Good morning team.

Morning all.

That's a bit of a pain about that quad-core. My first million points was also a huge milestone and like you as newer faster machines have been used to crunch the next million was a bit quicker and then the next. I have levelled out now until I can get another permanent set of cores going, can't afford to upgrade mine yet so the i7 will keep crunching merrily away.

Close to getting the next badge for OET and UGM. A bit of a race to see which one I get first as one is 4 and the other 5 days away. As I am mainly on MCM, these two projects only get a bit of power each day so still going to take a bit to get there, but which one will be first past the post confused

Hopefully the weather will brighten up so I can have a quick spin on the bike today. Not really wanting to get soaked if I can avoid it!

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning All. My Internet credit ran out last night so I'm on personal hot-spot power at the moment. Have to get some more credit today! I'm waiting for a contract service to be installed (it will still be LTE when available) which will give me a 6 Mbit connection with a cap of 110Gb a month for a bout ⅓ of the price i'm paying now.

I collected a few plants for the garden yesterday and got attacked by some very aggressive red ants. Various parts of me are now red and swollen and itch like hell!

Re: Good morning team.

A Big wave for reduk as he will pass me today on his way to Team UK stardom. The hard earned place that I gained when passing scribe is unfortunately to be lost however Mike D Green - I'm coming to get you (possibly in a couple of years as I'm 2 million points behind) and Grumpy Cat - you are in my sights (even longer - 16 million points in arrears). I'll have to get that 12 core Mac Pro I have been promising myself for ages.

Re: Good morning team.

Clockwork - hopefully your server will be back in full flow for you now. And of course, hopefully it won't break on you for a while!

RTS48 - home made ice-cream, sounds like a good way to end a busy day in the garden.
That 3billion is getting closer! With a bit of a boost from Clockwork's server, maybe a bit sooner wink

smile
I've been using CentOS 6 for a while to run BOINC but apparently it's unsupported. It was working for ages but decided to throw up errors about SSL connections from BOINC. Oh well, I've installed a Debian Virtual Machine now for the purpose of WCG/BOINC crunching only, and it seems to be working fine at full capacity

Evening, Evening.

Evening all.

Managed to get a few miles on the bike this afternoon. Just a quick trip from home to one end of town and back with a couple of minor diversions to take in the cycle paths.

Good to hear that you will be getting better and cheaper internet soon RTS48.

And talking of RedUK and GrumpyCat, where are you two? Not seen you in the thread for a while, hope all is well so come on back and pay us a visit biggrin

Presume you will be keeping an eye on your server there Clockwork just while it settles down with them cpu's crunching happily and hopefully no further issues.

Right, time for a brew methinks.

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning Team - I'm still on iPhone Personal Hotspot and buying internet credit on a PAYG basis. I did a lot of planting yesterday evening as it is too hot after about 11am and doesn't cool until 5pm (with a 6:30pm sunset).

I'm about to get a new badge.......

Fanfare ..........

A Bright and Shiny "Beta Gold"

When my current WU finishes it will give me the 8 hours missing to take me over 90 days Beta testing! Wheeeeeeeeeee
