Re: Good morning team.

I honestly had second thoughts on posting it, tried to rephrase it but thought what the heck, good for a laugh.

Made me smile :-)

Re: Good morning team.

Certainly gave us a chuckle too. biggrin

And my Beta unit has just finished after 23+hours. Been a long time since a unit crunched for that long. The event log shows it may not be a usable result.

Also noticed quite a variation in runtime for OET today. Some are taking less than 10mins on the 2.5gz works computer.

Re: Good morning team.

Good Morning All.
Yes OET is back in it's crazy short WU mode (which is good for the points tally). I have processed a glut of BETA WUs recently and not one of them has been shorter than 24 hours. The points per hour tally for them is also pretty poor although it did result in a promotion to BETA Gold for me (after 6 years of crunching)

The weather here is cool, windy and cloudy but forecast to cheer up tomorrow.

Evening all

Evening all.

Odd runtimes indeed for OET. Been seeing the works computer complete a WU in around 2 to 2.5 hours this week and then several under 20mins today while others have been under an hour. Quite a range of runtime.

Less than 24hr RT required to get silver so that will arrive when I'm back at work next week.

Re: Evening all

Well, it seems I'm about a year behind TMC (and a belated happy birthday to you), as I turned 39 on what technically is now yesterday (11th). Celebrated by taking my new-ish camera to the zoo, to give it a bit of a first test-run, came home with some nice photos! smile

Then, once I got back home, I celebrated a little further with a few pints of Tribute Cornish Pale Ale! From bottles, unfortunately, rather than keg - still can't complain too much, though!

Re: Good morning team.

Morning all.

Happy belated Birthday Thargor. Sounds like you had a good day, and a Tribute is no bad way to end it. A pub nearby usually has it on so quite often have a pint when I'm out there, although always tempted with an Otter if it's available. It's my way to end to the weekend in a nice pub with welcoming staff and nice regulars. While it's not open yet (a bit too early for that!) got a Doombar here so will raise that to you later.

Nice going TMC applause
